My order fell through the cracks... AGAIN

Two orders, two times I have to initiate the process myself to obtain a license key.

Whatever issues you have with paypal need to get worked out, or you should just abandon them completely. I can't imagine that this only happens when I purchase the application.

Would someone please look into my order and get it all taken care of.

    Thanks,
    Steve

Mmm.. All orders seem current. Did you use the same email for both transactions? Since the email is masked as coming from the purchaser (not from paypal), it might be stock in a spam filter. My apologies for this inconvenience :(

Please forward your paypal confirmation email to sales@crawlability.com, we will contact you back asap.

I've made 3 Paypal orders in the last week and everything went super smooth. Just figured I'd throw that in there.

I have to be cursed. My last purchase was a long time ago and the same exact thing happened.

I sent off the paypal info off to you Juan a half hour or so ago.

Paypal sends a "payment sent" email and a "payment accepted by vendor" email. In both situations, I got the payment sent message from paypal, but then nothing after that - meaning that what really has happened is that paypal took my money and vbSEO hasn't received it.

Well I never actually get license keys, as far as having to get them from the site or anything. I just go to my downloads area, download and install it. The license key is automatically in the download.

Your order has been fulfilled. Although, PayPal recorded your transaction, we did not receive the email notice. Apologies for the inconvenience.

    I appreciate the help.

It should be noted that I blame paypal for the problems I've had and not vbSEO.

Maybe this does only happen to me because of some strange setup with my paypal account, but it would probably be a good idea for vbSEO to implement a system that either sent notifications directly from your servers (as opposed to waiting for a notification from paypal) or gave you an outstanding order page, where you could see that people are either abandoning orders because of paypal complications or who sit in my shoes where everything looks dandy, but you have no idea that an order is pending.

From an order abandonment standpoint, you could at least work with the customer to find an acceptable method of payment and from a fulfillment standpoint you would be doing wonders as far as customer service is concerned.

The complication of development would be paid for the first couple of times you retained a customer who had abandoned an order.
