Moving threads to different forums - doesn't thread id redirect?

Hi,

I was under the impression that if you moved threads to different forums the thread id in the url would be looked up to forward the user to the thread in the new forum even if the forum name is in the path.

I've just moved a few threads to different forums, though, and old links to those threads now return "no thread specified".

If this thread id lookup is not something vbseo does, can it be made to do it?

it should be redirected correctly, as long as the thread ID is unchanged when you move the thread.
