Moved servers - Any changes needed with sitemap or the vBSEO?

Recently moved servers from litespeed to apache, and a brand new host with a different forumpath and so on. Do I need to change any options regarding the sitemap or vBSEO itself?

You should just have to update your htaccess file as far as I know.

vbseo uses vb's forum path info from the vboptions pane, so as long as those are correct, vbseo will be as well.

for the sitemap, double check your chown properties on the downloads.dat and the hits and data folders. they may be 'owned' by your old server, which your new server won't be able to write to.

Thanks for the checkup but the .htaccess looks good the way it was.

thats a chown issue. told ya

make sure those files are set to nobody.

alternatively, you can simply rename/delete the current ones, and the new server will create the new files/folders for you--- but you will lose your archived reports from the web front.

    /data/
    /hits/
    downloads.dat

those 3 items need to be re-named or deleteed.

I deleted it then re-added the default one.

I also opened a support ticket yesterday and Oleg said not to run the scheduled task directly, and to run it in the Sitemap control panel. I did it that way and got no errors, Thanks brian for the support!

I would add reputation if vBSEO forum had it!
