Members abusing the Likes system

We're having a bit of a problem with some members on our forum using the Likes system to "prank" other members, by repeatedly liking and unliking posts. Some members are reporting receiving as many as 600 notifications at a time, but when they access their profile pages the likes are all gone.

Is there anything we can do about this? We don't want to disable likes, we just want to be able to know who's abusing it.

When an item is unlinked, the DB record is physically removed from the database, so there will be no record there.

The best thing to do would be to sift through your access_log or other server records and find hits to the
GET /vbseo/resources/images/forum/vbseo_like.png
file or similar resource, find the IP, and then trace that IP to a user.

It may be a legit like, so you'll need to see an Ip do it off and on a lot of times in a row.
