The maximum # of texts you should have in your URL

Hello,

In the vbseo setting, I have made the URL into ID rather than the forum name because I wasn't sure whether having a long URL with many keywords would affect the ranking by Google.

For example:
Rather than http://www.vbseo.com/forums/classifi...wordsonly.html

I used http://www.vbseo.com/forums/f10/thre...wordsonly.html

I'd imagine that the first link would be more effective in the Google ranking because of the keywords in the forum name rather than the forum id.

But is it safe? Recommended?

The thread name is set to only three keywords and I use only two keywords for the forum_name. Thank you in advance. If there are relevant links that talks about this, please let me know too.
