Loooooong URL's

Hi there...i just ordered

I notice on some sites the url's are stupidly long like: Be random about cycling (racing, touring, mountain biking, commuting, etceterah!) - Bowlie (no offence to who-ever owns that site)

but theres a site with urls like: GT500 Spotted in Houston

Are they doing something special?

as its not picking up the category, hence the url is shorter

there are smart options to limit the length of the url right in the vbseocp.php page. it will trim out words if the length is longer than X as specified.

about 128 chars is the lognest url you want for best restuls (including yourdomain.com)
