Location Of Forums

Just curious how many people have placed their forums in a /forum directory versus having them at the root. Is there a benefit to doing this?

For those who use the vB CMS, however, have their forums in a separate /forum directory, how were you able to get it to work...does it work well with vBSEO?

This using vB 4.0.3

SEO wize no there is no benefit but when keeping your server files neatly then some people prefer to keep the files in their own physical directory.

Got it, so it is an organizational thing...guess I won't worry about it then. Ill just use vbSEO to make it appear like there is a /forums/ directory.
