    links inside of posts rewriten?

Has anyone else been having issues with vBSEO rewriting links within posts? What I mean is,

Say I post a link such as

    Code:
    [ URL="http://www .zealot.com"]I wrote this text[/URL ]
But, vBSEO jumps in and changes the text I wrote...aka

    Code:
    [ URL="http://www .zealot.com"]vBSEO puts whatever's in the title tag here[/URL ]
And, I'd actually appreciate it if vBSEO would not change the text within posts.

Can anyone tell me how to accomplish this, short of uninstalling vBSEO?

If you specify your own link text, vBSEO should not overwrite that. If you only post a link, it will attempt to grab the page title and use that as the link text.

I posted a link to Google, specifying my own link text, and it didn't overwrite. However, if I just post the link to Google, it will grab the page title:

Sometimes, well, most of the time, when I post just the url, it's because I want to just post the url.

But, this morning when I was posting a link on my hobby forum, it changed to the title, then I tried to edit it and put in the url as text, and it kept changing it back to the title.

But, I really just wanted to show my moderators a url, not the title of the page.

    But, vBSEO wouldn't let me.

When posting, there is a checkbox below the editor where you can tell it not to retrieve the page title.

Or, if you don't want it to ever retrieve the page title, you can just disable that option in your vBSEO Control Panel.

Also, you can put URL in code tags:
    Code:
    http://forum.zealot.com/
