Link on the notification emailo does not take to the last post

Hello

The link received on the notification email when someone is subscribed to a thread does not take to the last post, instead it show the first post on the thread.

That is mean that if we have a lot of post on that thread we need to looking for the last one manually.

Before vbseo, vbulletin take the user directly on the last post inserted (the one notified)
Any idea?

Is the link formated with, for example, "xxxxxxxx-new-post.html" at the end of it, or is it just the standard /url/ ?

urlrewrite settings-> forum urls -> advanced settings->

lastpost : [forum_title]-[forum_id]/[thread_title]-[thread_id]-last/

newestpost: [forum_title]-[forum_id]/[thread_title]-[thread_id]-new/

'Go To Post in Thread' Redirect: [forum_title]-[forum_id]/[thread_title]-[thread_id]-post[post_id]/

dou you mean these?

newestpost: [forum_title]-[forum_id]/[thread_title]-[thread_id]-new/
should do the trick to attach '-new' the the end of the url to make it go to the new url.

Do you have enabled the option to 'rewrite system emails' as well?

General settings ->vbseooption ->rewrite system email urls -> YES

What is the exact content of the notification email you are getting?. Did you customize the vB phrase 'notify'?. Are you able to reproduce the issue when you are not logged in?. I mean, does the "thread_name-thread_id-new/" URL take you to the newest post if you are viewing your site as guest?.

Inside the email content there's a link that is supposed to take you to the latest post on the thread. When you click on it, does it take you to the latest post when you *are not* logged in?. If so, does it do the same when you *are* logged in?.

On the email there is not the link to take me to the last post, in any case (logged or not logged) the link is the same and does not contain the "-New" at the end.

Could you please create a new ticket with Admin CP and vBSEO CP login details for troubleshooting?.
