    License key problem

I upgraded today from 3.3.2 to 3.5.0. I'm getting this error: "Your 'current' license key does not match your valid key, please license your vBSEO instance by saving your valid key as your 'current' license key"

However, when I copy and save the key it goes green. Then when I try to import the settings from 3.3.2, again it gives me the above error on top of the page. I have gone through all the settings and they were saved from the datastore I guess but I'm still getting the error at the top of the Vbseo admin page. I have chmod 666 and also 777 the config.xml file and that didn't help. I just want to make sure I'm not doing anything wrong, there is nothing going wrong in the background and what I should do to get rid of that error.

    Hello,

The old key was stored within vbseo_all.xml configuration file, that's why when you import it from vBSEO CP, it changes automatically. You only will need to save the new key and you are done.

Also please note, in the most cases is not neccesary to import configuration when you upgrade your vBSEO instance, because all of your configuration also is stored on datastore table so that vBSEO loads it automatically when you perform an upgrade.

I guess my question now is, where is that that new key?

Your settings backup contains your 3.3.2 key which is not valid on 3.5. After re-importing, just re-save the correct key again. Then, take a new backup XML.
