keyword link replacements
I stumbled apon something in vbseo that I didn't realise was there.

Under Acronym Expansion you can add links to keywords.
Example
'test keyword' => 'http://www.test-keyword.com'

Either I'm completely blind or this isn't very well documented?


... go on, some one show me how blind I've been.

Yes, you can use Acronym expansion feature to replace keywords with a link

What I mean is it will take 'test keyword' and replace it not just with the link but merge the two; to produce 'test keyword'. It doesn't say anything about it in the description.
I take it everyone else knew this and I'm only just catching on?

I also couldn't find a way to work auto link with acronym expansions.

If i choose Do NOT add expand acronyms setting and enter the following
Code:
'the doors' => 'http://www.ayyas.com/biyografiler/202-the-doors/
the doors text on all pages turn to normal link without any acronym explanation

If i choose ADD 'acronym' html tag to acronyms option and enter any of the following it is not working as expected
Code:
'pink floyd' => '<a href="http://www.ayyas.com/biyografiler/206-pink-floyd/">Pink Floyd</a>'
'the doors' => 'http://www.ayyas.com/biyografiler/202-the-doors/'
in this case it doesnt work

pink floyd replacement turns to be like
'Pink Floyd">pink floyd">pink floyd' => 'http://www.ayyas.com/biyografiler/206-pink-floyd/'

and the doors replacement turns to be like
'the doors">the doors' => 'http://www.ayyas.com/biyografiler/202-the-doors/'



Is there any way to combine acronyms with auto links ?

This acronym definition is incorrect:
Code:
'pink floyd' => '<a href="http://www.ayyas.com/biyografiler/206-pink-floyd/">Pink Floyd</a>'
as mentioned above, it can only be either text or URL.

If i use the one you supply the output within the page is wrong. The output is 'Pink Floyd">pink floyd'

Do you mean included in 3.2.0 RC5 or in 3.2.0 GOLD? Because I'm using RC5 and I wasn't able to success replacing "ebay" keyword with this: ebay

I'm trying it with the Acronym feature.

It is included in 3.2.0 Rc 5

You shall choose option : REPLACE acronyms as expanded text
and use a replacement as
