keeping certain text out of search engines

I'm well aware of the rules and what not of cloaking, but I'm starting to get frustrated.

I have installed the welcome headers mod from vb.org

MSN is the only SE who really has spawned my site yet in any depth (it's brand new as of may 1st)

    MSN Search: site:ctforums.com

as you can see, the welcome headers for guests appear in almost every search result. This can't help anything for SEO.

    Any suggestions?

Try moving the Welcome Header to the bottom of the navbar template so that the breadcrumbs/thread titles/forum descriptions are above it.

MSN shows my Welcome Header on a lot of my pages too, but many have the Forum Description showing (since that's above the welcome header once you move it to the bottom of the navbar template.)

Google seems to do a much better job picking up the correct text to use for the summary.
