I just bought vbseo.

I am in a download area and there are many files to choose from. Which ones do I need? Also I want to get the most out of this so want to make sure all the settings are what I need.

Is there a manual I can read?

I also have another question.

My old site has about 200 users but I am thinking of starting everything again apart from the threads and users. Is it possible to do a fresh install of vbulletin but keep the same users, passwords, threads etc?

It is a new site and want to start again but not have to re register everyone and make posts etc.

Also there is a sitemap generator but it takes me to a thread and it says 2.2 but for 3.7, is there one for 3.8?

vBSEO installation instructions are located within docs folder inside the package you download. File name is readme.html

Default settings are optimized however after installation you can create a Critque Request so staff member and other members can share their suggestions how to improve your onpage SEO.

It is asking for a license key but I purchased it earlier on todday. DO I need to wait for a key or something?

Ive installed and configured. Its working

So with regards to settings, are there any settings I should change or should I leave them as default? I want to get the most out of it. I think my forum is going to make or break my villa website. If I get lots of users on the forum, in turn people will use my villa website because they are linked. I just need to change my forum now as Ive changed domains so need to change logo, skin and other things.

What are permalinks? Ive just noticed them appear on my threads, do I need to do a special setting with them?
