Great talking to you tonight on how this gets uploaded right is there away to a fix this problem with WS_FTP PRO ?
or should I upload it with some free software? any suggestions for free upload would be great as I pay for ws_ftp pro

Someone suggested a free ftp client that works well in binary but I can't recall which one is it. There hve been quite a few reports for ftp clients that (even if set to binary only) don't updload the files properly.

Any recommendations for a free ftp client that works well in binary anyone?

I am currently using CuteFTP although you have to manually change the upload type from Auto to Binary in your settings. Nothing too major though.

flashfxp.. and same as michael have to change to binary. But its quite good one

I wouldn't recommend FlashFXP to anyone (for uploading or handling php files)- I used it, time after time (correct settings) and it always caused errors in certain files. I have an old license from 2000 for FTP Voyager and am now using my old copy of that program- no errors with that at all. It isn't free, but there is a.... I believe there to be a 30 day trial for the newer versions.

I use smart FTP which performs very well.

I second Filezilla.. it's open source software and VERY powerful
