I would rather not say, I am just looking for anyone who has had any dealings with them

Considering they are now the owners of vBulletin and own several large websites, I'd say they are pretty credible.

Hundreds of people have sold out to them.

What it comes down to is that it needs to be an emotional decision, not a financial one. can you give up your baby and not live with regret? The lump sum is always nice, but you could potentially earn that in a couple years by just holding on to it.

Yea, they haven't discussed any amount yet but I doubt seriously if I would sell... My house is paid for and I am 100% debt free and have a good job so I think I will just hold onto it.+ it is making more money now than it ever has (thanks to vbseo)

    Hi Jeff,

I hope your website is going to be even more successful. Then you will see that it was a good decision to keep it.

Can i ask what's the niche for your forum?

I believe forums are great investments they make especially 4-5 years later a lot of web traffic and money. One should better be patient before selling it.

Please don't take this as being rude and not making an accusation towards you would but I have enough competition from copycats now, I don't need any SEO ringers getting any ideas or flooding my market by finding this in a search engine...

All I can say is I started with vbulletin then switched to smf then tried to convert a 26,000 user database and it failed miserably so I ripped down the whole site and rebuilt it with vb4 it has taken me about 4 months to get 6500 registered users back but I am still getting about 1.5 million pageviews per month , so the same people are here basically just not registering just lurking, thats fine with me because I get paid for both lurkers and registered members, 35% of my traffic per day comes directly from google, so I got fresh new users everyday... This is where VBSEO has really made my site easy to find.

Been using that free offer from insights.gravity that is promoted here and it's very nice
As I said earlier, I am very blessed.... why should I sell my forum for a price that I can easily make in a couple of years off the site itself?

    Good Luck and Happy Holidays
