Intercepting a given link
I have a user that keeps spamming his crappy site all over my forum.

thing is, he doesn't just spam. He actively participates in the community, but the whole text of each post is linked to his site (let's say http://crappysite.com)

Is there a way to intercept that link in order to redirect or block it?

I would ask him to stop or ban him. Linking his entire post to his site is not acceptable IMO.

put him in a new usergroup that doesn't have bbcode permissions.

[url] will show up as [url] and won't parse
