Installed - What Now?

Hi!

I have installed vbseo on my forums but I am a complete SEO newbie. Linkbacks?/tailbacks?/trackbacks? all mean nothing to me? I intend to search these forums and have a good read to brush up my skills but could anyone suggest anything that is a priority? In other words, after installing, should I be looking to do anything?

vBulletin SEO Forums - LinkBacks

A LinkBack is any type of link to your site. You can also send them out from your forum to other sites.

There are pingbacks, trackbacks, and vBSEO's own RefBacks. These are all types of LinkBacks.

Pingbacks and trackbacks notify a site when you have linked back to them. A pingback will occur with vBSEO whenever you include a URL to another site.

A trackback will only occur if you specify the URL into the trackback field. Note: You do not need to add the actual link to the content of the post.

A RefBack is quite different. This basically lets you know when a person clicked a link to your site and where they came from. Each thread page will include a list of the pages from which a user clicked a link to visit your site.
