Install vBSEO on new forum or 6 month old forum?

I've got a bit of money coming in from an affiliate program and I think I'm going to get a vBSEO license with it.

The decision I have is this....

I have started a new forum this week and I have a forum that is 6 months old and doing great! Do I install vBSEO on the new forum or the existing one?

I assume that the existing forums position in the SERPS and traffic will decrease drastically because the indexed urls are no longer there? So do I take the hit and resume normal practices in a few months time or start from scratch with the new one.

    What are your thoughts please?

Because my forums are a hobby, I don't have them to make money!

I've just spent £120 on a vBulletin license and I can't afford another £80 for vBSEO.

    Thanks for the advice.

If the licensing fees are an issue at this time, I would recommend getting your first license on the forum that has been operating for 6 months. Then when you start increasing your earnings with the help of vBSEO, you can add your 2nd license to the newer forum.

The reason I recommend the older forum is that it has existing content, and therefore may provide faster returns on your investment.
