If you change your forums name after vbseo is installed...

Does the old link just turn up an error page or redirect you back to your homepage?

Like one of my Forum Categories is called Racing Forums

If I changed this to Mustang Racing Forums would the old link http://www.mustangevolution.com/forum/racing-forums/ not send me to the new one?

Anyway to fix this if that is the case? How does search engines handle this?

Or maybe I am completely missing something here which is entirely possible

If you change the title of a forum of thread, then of course the url changes.

If you have the forum number as part of the url, then vbseo should handle it no probs, just as it handles the change in thread titles - redirects to the proper url.

But when there is a forum name change, the following htaccess addition before the main vbseo htaccess lines, makes all the difference - replacing the "oldforumname" and the number of course
