    Huge Complaint!

    I have a valid license for my site and for some reason it is saying expired.

    Fine, no big deal, until your script make my forum completely worthless. I understand protecting your code and income, but hijacking someone forum because install script don't work properly is rediculous.

    There just has to be another way. IE - just disable the vbSEO features and not bring down the ENTIRE FORUM.

    This has a huge negative effect on community sites!

    open /includes/config_vbseo.php
    insert your code in
    Code:
        // ****** VBSEO LICENSE VALIDATION CODE ******
        define('VBSEO_LICENSE_CODE',            'your-code-number');
    that would have to work

    regards

    unfortunately, don't have my code, and have been going round and round trying to get it.

    12+ hours of down time is pretty hurtful.

    Hello,

    My deepest apologies for the inconvenience this have caused.

    vBSEO 2.4.x displays your license key so that it can be hard coded and hence, there's no possibility of it being erased from your datastore table (where it was stored in the pre 2.4.x versions)

    Additionally, the next version of vBSEO will simply disable rewrites in the rare instance that a license key is not stored in your config file.

    PM Sent.
