Question http:// => http://www when using both http as https ?

I'd like http://mysite.com to redirect to http://www.mysite.com to avoid duplicate content.

My site has both https as http. https is only accessible for certain usergroups. (subscribers) After login, subscribers are automatically forwarded to https.

Do I need to apply any specific vbSEO settings, to avoid the above to conflict?

[How to] Setup www.yourdomain.com or yourdomain.com (www vs. non-www) - With .htaccess 301 redirects - vBulletin SEO Forums

You will need to tweak this to include the secure check with something like
    RewriteCond %{HTTPS} off

How you will differentiate it for user groups, however, is not likely something that can be done. htaccess doesn't support scripting like that.
