    HTML Cleanup worth it ?

I just enabled HTML Cleanup for the first time on my forums...(via vbseo options) so far I see no errors and everything seems to be running fine.

Have any of you noticed that its made a positive difference in search engines for you ? Or maybe made things worse ?

if no errors show up, is it overall better to have this turned on ?

I personally don't use it for the simple fact that i view source 5 times a day... and without the formatting it makes it a lot harder to read.

The search engines will not miss the comments, as long as the document is valid and readable. It's going to increase your content 2 code ratio, decrease bandwidth, and speed up page processing/indexing by the engines. I recommend this feature. If you ever need to view the source for debugging or updating purposes, you can re-enable it briefly. In Brian's case, he does this so frequently, he prefers keeping the option disabled, avoiding the need to continually toggle it on and off.
