How to stop the redirect on external URL's?

I have SOME external URl's I want to stop the redirect on, is this a vBSEO feature or does this come with vB?

If it's vBSEO, how the heck do I restrict it to URLs within posts and not URLs in footer, header, etc.?

do you mean converting the links to "/?redirect-to=url_here"? It is applied in the private subforums only.

Actually the opposite, I want to remove the redirect from links (trying to pass PR more than anything), unless this does not hinder page strength.

Best thing would be similar to what myspace does to inactivate links within music, general interests, etc. with the <z> code. Something such as <a href .... ref="external follow" and it would remove the redirect from links. That would be a very worthwhile feature IMO for webmasters trying to make money with link sales.

You can put rel="novbseo" on any link to keep vBSEO from processing it.
