Hello,

The DirectoryIndex option has nothing to do with this, so that you can leave that line in place (just in case you actually use it).

Have you updated your Forum URL setting in your Admin CP? Please keep in mind that you must log out from the 'www' version and then log in again but this time without 'www'.
