    How to redirect specific thread URL to other URL?

    Hi guys
    I'm planning to get in top search for aspecific neich for a categry in my forum
    but I found that one of the thread has been in the Top of Goodle search Results

    How can I replace this thread by the category In Google Search result ?
    I thought to redirect this thread but I dont know what it the best redirection way

    Any Idea ?

    If you change where that thread points to, you will likely drop its position. It's ranking there for a reason.

    I dont care about the thread bcz its apprears in a neich that I want it to be on the category that have the same neich.
    how can I replace the Google Search Result for the thread's URL to category's URL?

    Redirecting it won't help. It may offer a good referral for a few days, but eventunally the source thread will drop rank. Google does NOT index anything that is a 301 or 302, only 200 http "good" requests.

    No, you shouldn't bother trying to replace it.

    Rather, you should focus on the URL that you WANT to have indexed up top. Why isn't it there? Are you missing keywords? strucuture? content?

    Focus on that page to rank it up on its own.
