How to move CMS to root ?

Hi,

I know this has been discussed, but I couldn't find the right answer for me. The only post that would have helped me was very old and it was mentioned that this could be done more easily with 3.5 which was not released yet. I have 3.6 so:

I have my blogs setup on www.mydomain.com/blogs and my forum on www.mydomain.com/forum. But when I go to the home page or type my top level domain, i am redirected to www.mydomain.com/content (/articles in my case).

Could you please explain the easiest way to have the CMS on my root, so that www.mydomain.com and "home" display the CMS ?
