    How long to be re-indexed?

How long does it take to be re-indexed by Google? My site has 200,000 pages indexed, but they're all pre-vBSEO except for the homepage—and I installed vBSEO two months ago. Is this taking longer than usual?

Yes, it seems to be unusual. You could be under penalty.
For example, you site clearly violate googles policy about links, 30+ links in the footer can promise nothing good SEO-vise.

    One more thing.
I just looked at site:volconvo.com/ vbseo - Ïîèñê â Google

    You have 6 VBSEOed pages.
    Take a look at URLs

How come this url Volconvo Debate Forums: Debating political, religious, and news-based topics
displayed your main forum page (without redirect)? This is defenetly considered as dupe content.
I would consider to do this as solution

I was able to fix the issue with /forums/index.php? being a duplicate. Thanks for the link. The showtopic= variable, however, I'm having problems with.
    RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} ^showtopic=
    RewriteRule ^index.php http://www.volconvo.com/forums/? [L,R=301]
This generates a 500 internal server error.

Also, do you have any official information about Google's link policy?

    Thanks.

Oleg is the best person who can help you with this.
I am not so good with htaccess rooles. Sorry.

I've seen this hudred times. For example
John Battelle's Searchblog: A Brief Interview with Google's Matt Cutts

    Quote:
I've said this before in a few places, but I'm happy to clarify. Google does consider it a violation of our quality guidelines to sell links that affect search engines. If someone wanted to sell links purely for visitors, there are a myriad number of ways to do it that don't affect search engines. You could have paid links do an internal redirect, and then block that redirecting page in robots.txt. You could add the rel="nofollow" attribute to a link, which tells search engines that you can't or don't want to vouch for the destination of a link. The W3C decided to add a "INDEX, NOFOLLOW" meta tag to their sponsor page, which has the benefits that the sponsor page can show up in search engines and that users receive nice static links that they can click on, but search engines are not affected by the outlinks on that page. All of these approaches are perfectly fine ways to sell links, and are within our quality guidelines.

Update. The following rewrite directive worked correctly:
    Code:
    RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} ^$
    RewriteCond %{THE_REQUEST} /index\.php
    RewriteRule ^index.php$ http://www.volconvo.com/ [L,R=301]

I'm also seeing that http://www.volconvo.com/forums/lastp...read12206.html is displaying without rewriting the URL. Can you please help fix this, as well?

    According to Google Webmaster Tools:
Pages from your site are included in Google's index. See Index stats. [?]
Does that mean I'm definitely okay? Google's just taking a while to re-index me?

I don't have any external link in the front page, all I have is the sitemap link. but still couldn't get indexed after almost 2 months using vbseo.

    My forum site is here.

    Please advise in this thread.

    Thanks.
