How long do you have to wait

till google, msn or yahoo properly indexes you.

I have purchased vbseo more than 3 months ago. I have installed sitemap generator however, I still have poor indexing. The indexing goes up and down, sometimes google indexes 20k pages, then it goes t down to 11, then back again to 23 and then down again to 9k. Similiar for yahoo and msn. Am I doing something wrong?

I just installed veseo threedays ago and I realize that Google bot has downloaded my sitemap.xml. Does it mean that vbseo started working on mysite?

This topic was created almost 2 months ago and the results are devastating.

Two months ago, I had 20k indexed pages and now I have 352 on google. Similiar for yahoo and msn. Bear in mind that I had vbseo since November last year.

I also got VBSEO Sitemap generator and google downloads daily by looking at the logs and it doesn't report any errrors.

What's causing this slow index, is there something wrong with my forum?

You need to be properly optimizing your site's pages for the search engines. Remember that Google, Yahoo, and MSN all operate in a very different way. Most spammy sites will rank well in yahoo and MSN but if you want to get into google you need to build up your trustrank, which takes about 6-9 months sometimes.
