Talking How long did it take

Just wondering, once you had setup your forums with Vbseo, how long did it take to get my registrations and more sales for you? Try to be accurate and describe in detail what happened.

    Appreciate it ..

Results vary. Fastest results have included immediate increase in search engine crawling of the site (pretty typical) and near immediate improvement in AdSense earnings (due to increases relevancy, not so much new traffic at the early stages).

It can then take weeks to months for you to see major changes to traffic and vBSEO-enabled pages occurring in the search engine results. Some sites experience steady growth, while others see a dramatic increase all at once. If you see alot of steady crawling activity and not alot of change in your indexed page count, you are likely to experience a large index page jump sometime in the future.

When you first install, you will typically see your index page count start to drop. This is a good thing. As vBSEO restructures your URL hierarchy for the forum, it eliminates duplicate paths to the same content, and developes link consistency. All redundant links are eliminated from the SERPs as 301 redirects do their job to inform the search engines of the new location of all of your pages.

Your visible PageRank update and improvement will occur in less than 4 months depending on when the last update occurred.

There are many factors that play into this.

    • If it is a new site, you may end up getting indexed, then sandboxed a couple months later no matter what you do.
    • If it is an established forum, with some decent pagerank, you will probably get reindexed fairly quickly. I recently completely changed the url structure on one of my forums that was doing fairly well with google traffic and it was completely reindexed and ranking better 3 weeks later with the new urls
    • It has been my experience that this product really works best with your quality threads. What we did with my ATV Forum is create forums for each manufacturer, and then list every model made by that manufacturer with full descriptions, specifications, and pictures. This was a long project, but in a very short time, our referrals quadrupled as these threads are ranking in the top 10, often #1 and #2 for the bike name, and other similar descriptions. Registrations are coming in at a rate of 2-10 per day, almost everyday now.
** I cannot stress enough the importance of taking the time to create some quality, informative threads related to your topic. With vBSEO enhancing your forum, the search engines will love these***
