    How do you do a complete backup

    I was reaching Bransol's Ultimate guide for vbseo and one of the first tips was:

    Before you do anything, MAKE A COMPLETE BACKUP.

    how do I do this? and is he talking about backup of vb or vbseo

    You should do both just to be on the safe side but i think he was reffering to the vBseo settings backup.

    Mainly you should save your xml settings in vbseo (vbseo_all) incase you need or want to revert to what you had. Loading my file will OVERWRITE EVERYTHING you have in there, including custom rewrite rules, your affiliate Id, your license key, etc etc.

    You should also be backing up nightly to a NAS or external ftp server for yourentire site.

    I personally save a copy of public_html once a week (mainly, attachments as i use the file system) and dump my db nightly.
