How to do an uninstall

So how do you do an uninstall? My IT group told me Zend was installed. But evidently the wrong version. Now my forums just say:

Zend Optimizer not installed

This file was encoded by the Zend Encoder / Zend SafeGuard Suite
In order to run it, please install the freely available Zend Optimizer, version 2.1.0 or later.

You can remove all vBSEO files and the .htaccess file to restore your site. Then uninstall the Product from vBulletin's AdminCP.

Ok that worked.

Now I am trying the Ioncube version. It installed fine. Or so it seemed. But when I go to our forums I now get a blank page. I can access the AdminCP fine.

I read the troubleshooting.txt file and tried uncommenting the Rewritebase but that did not help.
