    How do I uninstall vBSEO

I had vbseo installed last week but I'm having too many problems and my site is down right now and it has to do with vbseo. How do I uninstall it? I'm losing traffic and need to get my site back up.

    Thanks!

    Hello Bill

You simply need to update your server. You have a big board but you are trying to run that Big Board on a very outdated server. As i told you in installation service ticket , i added you to our Big Board usergroup so you can check and contact other Big Board owners. The server you are using is not even currently used on many personal computers. However you can check Uninstall Instructions within http://www.vbseo.com/blogs/mert-goek...all-vbseo-238/

    Hi Mert -

I talked to my host and they will upgrade me, but it's going to take 30-60 days. So until then, can I just turn it off by clicking on Activate Plugin? and selecting "no"? I did that and the forum is not working again. Should I do any of the other steps in your blog or can I just leave it to "no" until everything is sorted out?

    Thanks,

    Bill

Maybe you should consider switching hosts. I never heard a hosting company taking that long for just a dedicated server change. You can find some host suggestions within Good web hosts for VBSEO-powered forums or you can directly post a thread and ask other big board owners suggestions.

I agree. It should not take so long. So did I do it right by just clicking "no"? Or do I need to do all the other steps on your blog?

    Thanks,

    Bill

30-60 days? It should be closer to 30-60 minutes.

How come I never was offered access to the big board forum? I've got a 600,000+ post user community that was just about destroyed by me installing vbSEO.

This blog post is NOT a very indepth example of how to uninstall vbSEO. Inside the blog post you tell people to post in the forums for more advanced uninstalling tips ... then when people ask in the forums for how to uninstall .... you tell them to go read the blog post.

    -
no content on how to redirect forumdisplays
    - no content on how to redirect content

Many things can not be redirected as there are no numbers indexed in Google ... just letters. Blogs and member profile pages are in this camp.

All the information you seek is available on blog post. Simply the blog post can't cover all possible rewrite options. Blog post supplies example urls for most important urls. Additionally any coder can convert those rules to their needs. You are being assisted within support ticket. In order not to double our efforts please try to keep communication of the issue on thread or support ticket only.
