How do I track stats? and pages

hello,

I currrently am using google analytics which is a nice program but is somewhat overwhelming. I got Vbseo and I want to see if it is making progress on the search engine's etc.

my question is, What source do people look at to see where they rank at and all that?

My forum is new so i dont think I am well listed in google or whatever else but is there a good way to check some places to see progress?

Best way to track statistics is Google Analytics. Wait for a month and you can see that your referral number from SE's will increase. Just make sure you add quality content for your forum daily as it is the most important thing for you currently.
