how can I safely move my forum...?

hello and happy new year to everybody

I have a well indexed forum at my main address Il Forum sulla Musica Italiana | SonicBands | Vendita online di biglietti per concerti, eventi, musei, mostre.

now, I'd like to use my main domain for a complete website and I'd like to move the forum to forum.sonicbands.it. which is the best way to do it without loose google indexing?
i'm using vbseo 3.2 gold

If you are going to move your forum , you should know that all your pages needs reindexing. Thats why we highly suggest not to do it. When you are done , you can create an .htaccess file in your old domain name with the following content

RewriteEngine on
RewriteRule (.*) http://www.newdomain.com/$1
