How can I make sure I'm getting the best use out of vBSEO?

I'm feeling a little lost with this program. I think I've set it all up right but I only have 13,500 google entries, is that a lot? I'm not even listed in the top 1000 on google for one of our main keywords and it's been 2 or 3 months now...

vBSEO focuses on optimizing on a thread by thread basis, delivering traffic from the thousands of keywords and keyword phrases that occur naturually within your user generated content.

No increase in traffic. The only thing we are seeing now that we didn't see before are forum bots that spam advertisements. We are getting 2 a day now and they seem to be unstoppable.

Have you seen any fluctuations in your indexed page count over the past few months, or has it been consistent at the current levels?

it says the sitemap is at http://www.weedspeak.com/forums/sitemap_index.xml.gz

yet when I go there it says: Sitemap file not found


How can I fix this?

Yes it's being auto generated once a day, I get the emails telling me that anyway...

Okay I think I got it all set up with yahoo and google. Is there anyway I can have you check my work. I really do want this neat script to work.

I cannot open your sitemap_index.xml.gz, so it looks like it's still not created. Please check your vbseo_sitemap/data/ folder and make sure that sitemap files are located there.

Please make sure that you vbseo_sitemap/data/ folder has permissions set to 0777. If it still doesn't work, open a support ticket with ftp access for troubleshooting.
