How can I improve this numbers?

I've been using VBSeo and VBSeo Sitemap Generator for a while (+1 month) and here are some of my stats...

As you can see, apparently Google Bots (not yahoo's, however), are pretty active in my forums. However, I've only 994 pages indexed in Google (yes, not even 1.000).

I'm using Custom Rewrite Rules, Relevant Replaces, and my site even validates 100% as XHTML 1.0 Transitional...

Maybe I'm missing something or you can advice me with some little tips? Or should I just wait some more time?

Index is not guaranteed nor are they instant; give it a few more weeks and the number should grow slowly over time.

Try to create more density on your desired keywords on pages and bring some key information to upper section of the HTML. You might get better results that way too (IE: look at the "About this page" section on this page).

Definitely more time. I would look at it as about a 4 month process to get the full effect of vbseo. sometimes it doesn't take that long, sometimes it takes longer.

Also, don't get concerned with indexed pages. Google is an absolute mess and has been or over a year now in terms of their tools. I have url's that have been gone for 18 months and longer that are still showing up in the google index when I do the site: check.

The thing to monitor is your referrals. Watch to see what kind of traffic you are getting from the search engines, not how many pages are being indexed.
