how to add google Analytics through VBseo

Hello,

Replying here as it seems to be the most relevant::
I added my Google Analytics code.
vBSEO CP >> General Settings >> Log & Tracking Options
Add Google Analytics Code to your Forum Pages? YES

Then in the field below: Enter your Google Analytics Code
I entered my code UA-27******-1

The config.xml is writable at the moment.
I clicked "Save Settings" at the bottom of the vBSEO CP.

Yet still, when I check the source for a page in the forums, the Google Analytics code still doesn't come up.
It is a new vB installation (vB 4.1.8)... maybe I'm missing something basic?
Any thoughts?

vBSEO doesn't appear to be installed on your site at all.

Please re-read the installation instructions as it looks like you may have missing a step or two, like importing the XML product file into the admincp.

You are 100% right... I didn't have vBSEO installed.
I uploaded the files, played with the configuration... yet didn't do the Product Import!

I just Imported vBSEO, and now everything is running.
Google Analytics code is coming up.

I have been trying to get it to work for a long time... then found this thread :-)

Can I please ask again.
Does this sytem work?
It does not accept my login details.

To make it clear also .. is google logins or forum logins.
I have tried everything.

I am sorry but i have no idea what you are asking , which login are you asking about ? Is it vBSEO CP ?
vBSEO Cp requires a password that is set by End user during installation.

Im sorry that I havnt explained myself.
There is a widget that connects to google analytics...
Its shows on all pages of the board.

Does this work... if so.. what password do you use.
Google analytics login or vbeso.
I have tried all.. and noe work for the widget.

That is the livestats widget. Please start your own thread in the correct area in the future. There was an update published on vb.org for this a few weeks ago. Make sure you've installed the latest version.

While I am new to this site and vb too.
I have writen politly and I am finding my way around.
