    Having dynamic URLs 404

    Hey whats up
I have vbSEO installed perfectly but I was wondering how to make it so that if you go to example.com/forum/index.php?option=bla&task=bla it will give a 404, not go to the forum homepage. With it going to the homepage, this will make my homepage into duplicate content.

    Thanks
    John

There is a section in vbseocp.php called "File Not Found" requests handling?

You can set it to send a 404 instead, or to include a custom 404 page of your own.

I did that and links like the one above still going to my homepage. I also tried removing "index.php" and "index.php?" from the "Define Homepage Aliases".

I will send you a PM of an example link.

    Thanks
    John

I see that you are running vBSEO 2.4.0. Please try vBSEO 3.0.0 RC3 since many things have been fixed/improved since 2.4.0.
