    Hi Jonathan,

It's exciting! We've noticed on several forums that Google has quite the appetite when it comes to the static CRUs. It's great to see that Google is indexing your content so soon after the install. Keep me posted

    Juan

    indexed!

I just checked Google, vbseo urls from my site that were recently spidered have already started appearing in google SERPS and bringing traffic to my site. Thread urls, member urls, printthreads, single posts, etc. Link. I'm noticing some other vbseo test sites with cru's listed in Google as well. That was quick .

    Hi Jonathan,

I reviewed some of the the static URLs that have been indexed in Google for your forums. There is something even more interesting happening than just the fact that you are being indexed so quickly. Did you notice that you are now highly relevant for many of the keywords that are in your CRUs?

In many of the examples below you are getting #1 to #4 SERPs positioning in Google for the keyword phrases included in your CRUs. And these are not just nonsense phrases... they are actually keywords that users looking for specific hotrod information would search for in Google, etc.

Check out this quick SERPs analysis:

    www.hotrodders.com/forum/rear-frame-repair-63-fairlane-64678.html

    #1 fairlane rear frame (link)
    #1 fairlane rear repair (link)
#1 fairlane rear repair parts (link)

    www.hotrodders.com/forum/700r4-tranny-problems-64756.html

    #1 tranny problems (link)

    www.hotrodders.com/forum/id-ing-ford-9-inch-disk-brakes-65001.html

    #4 ford disk brakes (link)
#1 9 inch disk brakes (link)
    #1 9" disk brakes (link)

    www.hotrodders.com/forum/ford-explorer-rear-disc-brakes-9400.html

#1 ford explorer rear disk brakes (link)
#1 ford explorer disk brakes (link)
    #1 explorer disk brakes (link)

    www.hotrodders.com/forum/painting-new-fiberglass-body-panels-60566.html

    #1 painting new fiberglass (link)
    #4 fiberglass body panels (link)

    www.hotrodders.com/forum/ford-lincoln-rear-disk-brake-help-22736.html

#1 ford lincoln rear brakes (link)
#1 lincoln rear disk brakes (link)

    www.hotrodders.com/forum/disk-brakes-conversion-no-pressure-back-brakes-12861.html

#1 no pressure back brakes (link)

Note that for many of your results, the second most relevant page is the "printable version". I'd add rel="nofollow" for those pages or... better yet, wait for RC5 and have vBSEO add this itself (at your discretion)

    ...I'm excited!!

    Awesome.

Another advantage of getting pages like this listed in search engines is that you get very high *quality* traffic. Many automotive forums have very "chatty", low-tech environments. My site has a reputation for high-end tech. We have a lot of lifetime car builders, shop owners, professional racers, etc. I've noticed that you can target people like this with tech-heavy pages in the SERPS.

For example, my "main" keyword would probably be "hot rod" -- I'm generally in the top 3 at google for that one. When I track the traffic for that term, I notice that, generally speaking, the traffic stream is not that great. It's very generalized.

Another popular "hot rod" term is: "hot rod pictures". Again, I'm generally in the top 3 at Google for that term. From a tech perspective, that term is even less valuable. You get a good amount of traffic, but it's often mostly people who just want to check out photos of cars, or cars with "babes", etc.

If you look at the terms above ("tranny problems", "9 inch disc brakes", "fairlane rear frame", etc.), you'll notice that they're all *technical* automotive terms. Getting pages like that listed in the SERPS pre-qualifies your traffic. This means that you'll not only get more members, but more knowledgeable members. A single tech-smart member can be more valuable to a community than 1,000 less knowledgeable members.

Just another advantage of "content-relevant" urls. Not only more traffic, but *better* traffic.
