Google Update coming?

So I renamed some of my forums a few weeks ago and Google is just now deleting those URLs from the index. Doesn't this usually mean an update of new indexed URLs are coming?

Well - it's recognized that they are gone, which means it recrawled your forum. So, yes, I would say to expect an update relatively soon.

yeah, it takes some time. I've seen it take as long as 2 months on active sites to get re-indexed, even with googlebot visiting everyday. Just gotta sit back and wait i'm afraid.

You'll be glad to learn that the next vBSEO version has a "historic redirect" feature that enables you to easily set 301 redirects for moved threads and forums
