Thanks Brian
Hi again,
anyboby can suggest me how can i do for allow the google's algoritms to see my site links structure?
subdomains are better than subdirectory?
They will add your site links when they feel it will help your site out. nothing more.
subdomains are FAR WORSE than a subdirectory. They are treated as a whole different 'web site'.
I want to debunk that sub-domains is weak.
Google treats sub-domains the same way they do other types of directories.
I own a lot of sites, and I know how sub-domains can get more traffic.
You need to market the sub-domain as a "primary" use, otherwise, google will not crawl it. If the domain isn't on your mainpage or "linked" from your landing page, then it will not be crawled.
I know this because I've been testing sub-domains for two years now.
And on top of that, everyone is using sub-domains nowdays. Making it the "hot-topic" of the domain trends right now. I think google is doing something behind the scenes to rectify the idea that directories are the only crawled pages.
If you want to use sub-domains for your forum, market it heavily. And I mean not just on your mainpage, do whatever it takes for google to notice it.
Add it to your sites in Webmaster tools.
subdomains are treated the same way as tilde directories (site.com/~user).
site.com/~user/ is also treated as a separate site.
even sites like geocities used to have their own PR and alexa ranking, not that of geocities.com root.
Yahoo! GeoCities PR0, alexa 0
Bob Blair PR0 alexa 2million and chage
Ohhh....I see.
I get it now. Eh heh. I'm sorry if I stepped on your toes...Really. No hard feelings, man.
no prob. i certainly don't know everything and am here to learn too![]()
