Google Page Titles

Why are the titles of my pages on google being named in this way?

"Rap or Rock-action phrase-brandname Music"

I dont want there to be "action phrase" in the middle, it is really annoying.


Does this have to do with the rr's?

this is exactly how the title is shown at your pages: Rap or Rock-action phrase-brandname Music

You should check your <title> in SHOWTHREAD template in vB admincp to fix this.

Man, My Forums are skrewed up to. They are showing my keywords like a ton instead of the forum's description.

Would you mind posting a link to your forums, and also showing us what code you are using to create the title tags.

I fixed the titles, it is just the descriptions are all screwed up... look at the google descriptions for some of my pages and you will see.

I've just checked your current meta tag descriptions for the forumhome, forumdisplay and showthread templates and they all appear to be functioning correctly. Perhaps Google just needs to update its index of your website, which could take a couple of weeks - although apparantly Google is currently undergoing an update at the moment, so it could be shorter.

Be careful with him, he can be areal *****. He denied me service for my template, and he charged me the ammount in pounds. So pretty much the price was doubled. Also, I had to be a TON of work into the site. HE prettym uch gives you a bare style and thats it. You do the rest . PLus he is not excepting work I guess.

Overall I would just avoid him.

Wow, thanks for the update. I was just checking out their forums, and you can see here that he deals in pounds, and is from Scotland. Although, i agree that he should have made his currency standpoint betterknown.
