Google & HTML5 Microdata

Hi,

I've recently been reading Google's help page for webmasters and discovered that there are several other things you can tag inside your HTML 5 so to get Google find the more relevant content.

This can specify several things, including ratings, dates (in the calendar) and other things.

I think this would be very interesting to implement inside the VBSEO tool and/or give some advices of how to modify the existing templates to give this information to the spiders and look after how this affects the overall SEO.

Did anybody tried this?

vbulletin is not currently coded in html5. Adding html5 attributes to html4/xhtml is invalid.

To the best of my knowledge, an html5 skin does not yet exist for vb, on any version.

vBulletin doesn't use Html 5 so that modification is Pure Useless

Breadcrumbs have been a feature of google for 3 years without html5. What you are seeing has nothing to do with any mod.

I can provide search urls if necessary.

It's probably just coincidence.

Actually, if you test a page using the testing tool before and after adding the breadcrumb code you'll see that the breadcrumb is added.
