    Google bot going crazy few hours after install of vBSEO

    Google bot has never paid attention to my site, but 3 hours after installing vBSEO, I was surprised to see that my site had 64 visitors ( usually has 2-5 ). I looked into latest visitors in cPanel and realized that this was google bot. This sure is a good thing, but is this normal?

    Do you happen to run adsense on your site?

    If you do, and you have adsense targetting turned on, the influx may be due to the adsense robot might be returning to the pages it had indexed before, which now have different content highlighted to it.

    Yes - it's normal. When a big change happens across your site, the search engine crawlers will quickly take notice. If you're using our sitemap, this is another way that they will be quickly alerted that a large re-crawl is required.
