Getting google to get better content from my site?

When I look at what google sees as content on my site in the webmaster tools there is about 5 words that are relevant out of the top 100.

The rest are forum related such as "post", "find", "posted", "user" and so on, is there a possibility that this will change now that I have installed vBSEO or is there any other way for me to take googles attention away from these keywords that are wothles in searches?

That's one of the reasons we always advocate converting welcome messages to images, and using relevant replacements.

We want to enhance the real content, and get rid of anything extra that could skew the meaning.

I am not currently running a forum, but I would be very tempted to remove anything not absolutely necessary for guests.

I just reviewed this forum today, and I think they have taken some extra steps that I believe will be quite helpful for their SEO:
another success story

Our forum is a mess and have been modified in so many stages that I could cry everytime we try to change anything, we are just sitting here waiting for the release of vBulletin 3.7 as soon as they have tested beta 17
That will give us a new start and we can start working with SEO for real and I will definetly take your advice.
