forums urls

Hi all,


I encountered the following problem, that I cannot solve. I have installed vb4 in the domain root folder and I need all forums to appear under URL beginning with mydomain.com/forum/. I am using slugs to rewrite certain forum URL. I tried to set 'forum' in the Site Name / URL / Contact Details -> Forum Component URL, but then slugs don't work and I see forum URLs as mydomain.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=XX.


Does anyone have some idea how to fix this?

If you are in root and want /forums/, it's along tedious process of going into the advaced tab under the rewrite rules,
and copy the rule currently in use, and add forums/ in front of it in the custom box. repeat for every forum rule.

thank you very much, it works. I think I had that idea too, but I tried to change it only for the forum path.
