    Forum forgets users passwords

My forum does not always recognize users passwords, even if they try to change the password it won't let them log in with the new password. This is totally random but very annoying and seems to be a cookie problem, if I put in a new password for the user it works fine. But other than that they have to delete their cookies to get their password to work. As vbseo makes changes to the standard vb cookie then I can only think that this problem is because of vbseo.
Below is my htaccess file and vb cookie settings, are they wrong. ?

    Code:
    # Comment the following line (add '#' at the beginning)# to disable mod_rewrite functions.
    # Please note: you still need to disable the hack in
    # the vBSEO control panel to stop url rewrites.
    RewriteEngine On

    RewriteCond %{HTTP_USER_AGENT} Baiduspider
    RewriteRule ^.*$ – [F]

    RewriteCond %{HTTP_USER_AGENT} Sogou
    RewriteRule ^.*$ – [F]

    # Some servers require the Rewritebase directive to be
    # enabled (remove '#' at the beginning to activate)
    # Please note: when enabled, you must include the path
    # to your root vB folder (i.e. RewriteBase /forums/)
    #RewriteBase /

    RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www\.xxxxforum\.co.uk$
    RewriteRule (.*) http://www.xxxxforum.co.uk/forums/$1 [L,R=301]

    RewriteRule ^((urllist|sitemap_).*\.(xml|txt)(\.gz)?)$ vbseo_sitemap/vbseo_getsitemap.php?sitemap=$1 [L]

    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !(admincp/|modcp/|cron|vbseo_sitemap|api\.php)
    RewriteRule ^((archive/)?(.*\.php(/.*)?))$ vbseo.php [L,QSA]

    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !/(admincp|modcp|clientscript|cpstyles|images)/
    RewriteRule ^(.+)$ vbseo.php [L,QSA]

    Hello ,

vBSEO doesn't modify your cookie , vBSEO defines it's own cookie. Login issue is 99.9% related to vBulletin. Does your users correctly login if you temporary disable vBSEO from vBSEO Cp ?

Did you tried defining a cookie domain ?

vBSEO sets a cookie but that has nothing to do with vBulletin cookie.
