    Few installation questions

    1. When I open the Htasscess.txt file it says yourdomain.com/forum and what not. Am I supposed to edit the Htaccess file?

    and

    2. It seemed like the installation was almost to easy, is their any way to verify that the mod is working?

    1) yes, While this is optional, you should put your forum URL in there, and also remove the leading # signs from those lines. the #'s are comment notations in htaccess. This will ensure your non-www end up on www. your domain (so you aren't serving dupe content against yourself, and all your users will be on one cookie domain)

    2) if you can head into yoursite.com/forums/vbseocp.php and adjust settings. Be sure to save your key (and the file must be chmod 777 to write, but be sure to put back to 644 after you are done tweaking settings).
    The easiest way to tell it's "on" is to just browse the forum and notice the urls are re-written. you can tell it's "working" in about 2-5 weeks depending on how much love google wants to give out
