I don't know if it's just me but I'm having an issue with the Facebook like button and VBSEO creating description meta tags. Basically I set it so VBSEO would dynamically create a description meta tag per post, but Facebook's meta info is overriding it with the overall site's description. So when people try to share posts, they get the site's description rather than the post's description.
When checking the site's HTML, I saw this
Facebook has it's own meta description listed first.
While the thread's VBSEO generated meta description goes like:Code:<metaproperty="og:description" content="Keeping you update to date on the newest cars, technology, news and concepts in the auto industry." />
but it's listed second, and since Facebook uses their own opengraph protocol thing, it sees the first one when posts are shared. Any idea how to correct this?Code:<metaname="description" content="It seems Saab is in problems again They might be in a situation again, but the owners don't seem to worry too much about it. * Spyker CEO says claim" />![]()
