    Exclamation Facebook "Like" NOT there.

I turned on Facebook's "like" on 4.0.8 and it didn't work, I had VBSEO installed.

And, once I upgraded the site to vb4.1.0 ....it still isn't there. :(

    What the heck?

Are you using the auto relevant replacement? if so, you should disable that and use the old <!--VBSEO_RR_1--> style comments in the template as the auto replacement replaces facebook as well.

I didn't touch the RR's at all for this site. At least that's what I remember.

I just installed VBSEO 3.5.2, tweaked only the options I want...and installed the new 3.0 sitemap.

3.5.2 ships with this option enabled. Check your RR settings and un-check the box.

    Hello Carlos,

vBSEO includes the setting that Brian mentioned enabled by default. You should go to: vBSEO CP -> Relevant Replacements and un-check the 'Insert this Relevant Replacement in "Page title" section on forum and thread pages (vB4.x+ only)' option to fix the issue.

Okay, so I've managed to get into my vbseo instance and unchecked the box. And already have the "like" button set to yes, and re-did it.

    Guess what!? NOTHING WORKED!

Before I do that, I have a question....?

Did I have to do anything else?

Do I need to fill in the fields for Facebook Application ID, and Secret? Both are empty.

    Where do I change this?

    Hello Carlos,

I don't know what you mean with your first question, though we will try to troubleshoot this for you. And no, you don't need to fill in the Facebook fields within Admin CP, they are only needed if you want to enable Facebook login on your site.

If you want to redirect forum.php to http://www.yoursite.com/, you should set index in your 'Script Name for Forum Home Page' setting (within Admin CP) without renaming forum.php to index.php and add forum.php and forum.php? to your homepage aliases list. You can find it at vBSEO CP -> SEO Functions -> Homepage Settings.

    Thought so.

Alright, fixing this part right now.
